Caitlin Lanese, M.S., CCC-SLP
Caitlin is a Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist. She attended Ohio University, where she obtained her Bachelor of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders. After completing her undergraduate degree, she obtained her Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology from Grand Valley State University.
Caitlin has several years of pediatric therapy experience as she previously provided school-based speech therapy to preschool students with speech and language impairments. She joined Mountain River’s pediatric therapy team in January 2018. Her professional interests include augmentative/alternative communication (AAC) therapy and swallowing/feeding therapy. She is trained in the SOS (Sequential-Oral-Sensory) Approach to Feeding, which focuses on children’s oral motor and sensory skills to increase the number of foods in their diets. She is also familiar with PRC and Tobii Dynavox AAC language systems, as she has attended several trainings for both operating systems.
