Her physical therapist took the time to explain how her home exercises would help during therapy and after. “I have continued using the exercises even though I have finished with my therapy.” She was happy with her therapy and everyone involved. Meet the Staff
Ashley attended WVU where she graduated with a Bachelor’s in Exercise physical therapistlogy with Aquatic Therapy emphasis. She then received her Doctor of Physical Therapy from WVU. Ashley was recognized as a WV Health Sciences Service Program recipient.
Ashley has worked as a Physical Therapy Aide at Dynamic Physical Therapy in Morgantown, WV and as a lab worker at the WVU School of Physical Therapy.
Ashley’s hobbies and interests include photography, being outdoors, spending time with friends and family, cooking, and staying active through yoga and cycling.
Rebecca Beabout completed her Bachelor’s degree in Education (PreK – Adult) from West Liberty University in 2009 and an A.A.S degree in Physical Therapy Assistant from Kent State University in 2016. During her undergraduate studies, she had the opportunity to gain experience in outpatient rehab, inpatient rehab, and skilled nursing facilities. She has also completed her specialization in Orthopedics for Physical Therapy Assistance (OPTA) from NxtGen Institute. Rebecca has been working with Mountain River Physical Therapy from September 2016 to present.
Rebecca’s hobbies and interests include cooking, DIY projects, motivational quotes and visiting family and friends in OH, PA and northern WV.
Ryan Ruben graduated from West Virginia University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise physical therapistlogy in 2008. Ryan then attained his Master’s degree in Exercise physical therapistlogy from WVU in 2010 and went on to receive a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from WVU in 2013. During his time at WVU, Ryan had various graduate assistantships that included performing research, teaching and lecturing in undergraduate and post-graduate classrooms and interning with the WVU Strength & Conditioning Program. Ryan began his professional career at Mountain River Physical Therapy in August 2013. In 2015, he graduated from NxtGen Orthopedic Residency program and obtained an Orthopedic Clinical Specialist Certification. He is a member of the orthopedic section of the American Physical Therapy Association.

- Functional Therapeutics
