Meet the Staff
Kelby graduated from Waynesburg University with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Biology and Athletic Training in 2005 and received his Doctor of Physical Therapy from West Virginia University in 2008. Kelby also received a Fellow-in-training, Nxt Gen Fellowship Program from the Nxt Gen Institute of Physical Therapy.
Kelby is certified in:
- Licensed Physical Therapist in WV and PA
- Certified Athletic Trainer
- Clinical Specialization in Orthopedics from APTA
- ASTYM certification (upper/lower quarter)
- Level I FDN certification through KinetaCore
Kelby has worked at HealthWorks Rehab and Fitness as a Staff Physical Therapist from May 2008 to May 2012, Clinical Director at Advanced Physical Therapy from May 2012 to February 2013, Instructor Therapeutic Exercise and Lab at Waynesburg University in the fall of 2012 and is currently a Clinic Team Leader and Therapist with Mountain River Physical Therapy from February 2013 to present.
Kelby’s hobbies and interests include health/fitness and college football/wrestling. Kelby and his wife, Jennifer, have two sons, Jaxon and Maddox, and a dog named Piper.
