Danielle Honnette, PT, DPT, SCS, CSCS
Danielle earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from St. Catherine University in Minneapolis, Minnesota, and her Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Physiology from Baylor University in Waco, Texas. She is a graduate of the Sports Physical Therapy Residency at ProRehab & University of Evansville based in Evansville, Indiana, which had a strong emphasis on integrating functional movement, manual therapy, and evidence-led treatment and evaluation. Additionally, she is a Sports Clinical Specialist (SCS), a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS), and a Certified Functional Strength Coach (CFSC).
Prior to arriving at Mountain River, Danielle worked as a full-time therapist for an outpatient company in Evansville, Indiana where she stayed involved in mentoring sports residents and assisting in the University of Evansville’s athletic training room treating athletes and collaborating with athletic training and strength & conditioning staffs. She also has experience in coaching, human performance and personal training.
Danielle is certified and trained in the Selective Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA Levels 1 and 2), Functional Movement Screen (FMS Levels 1 and 2), Fundamental Capacity Screen (FCS), Y-Balance Test (YBT), OnBaseU (Hitting and Pitching), Kinetacore Dry Needling (Levels 1 and 2), Active Release Technique, and spinal manipulation.
In her free time, Danielle enjoys playing volleyball & softball, being outdoors and exploring Florida, cheering on the Minnesota Twins & Vikings, and traveling as much as possible.
