Austin Norden, MS, NSCA-CPT
Austin graduated from the University of Florida with a Bachelor’s of Science in Exercise Physiology. He then received his Master’s of Science in Human Performance from the University of Florida. Austin received the 2012 University of Florida Recreational Sports – Small Group Training Coach of the Year.
Austin is certified in:
- National Strength and Conditioning Association – Certified Personal Trainer
Austin has over ten years experience working in personal and performance training. He has worked at prominent establishments such as Gainesville Health and Fitness, University of Florida Department of Recreational Sports and Oak Hammock. These opportunities have provided him with a diverse range of clientele, including children, high-level athletes, the elderly and everyone in between. He is currently working at the IAP as a Performance Coach for Mountain River Physical Therapy.
Austin’s hobbies and interests include playing all types of sports, especially rugby and ultimate Frisbee, exercising, reading, eating tasty, new foods and Star Wars. If given the choice, he would prefer being outdoors and enjoys surfing, climbing, hunting and fishing. Austin also enjoys the mountains and the beach and spending time with his family.
