Meet the Staff
Meghan Horan earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Athletic Training in 2017 and her Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) in 2019 from Wheeling University. As a dual credentialed, licensed Athletic Trainer and Physical Therapist she brings a wealth of knowledge and skill to our Elm Grove clinic.
Meghan is a Sports Medicine Specialist certified by the National Athletic Trainers Association. Since graduation Meghan has obtained several certifications in advanced skills for the assessment and treatment of her patients. She is a level II Selective Functional Movement Assessment Specialist. She is an ASTYM soft tissue treatment specialist and is certified in Functional Dry Needling.
She enjoys treating a variety of patient’s including pediatric and adults. She has extensive experience treating musculoskeletal injuries and dysfunctions from sports injuries to total joint replacements. Meghan treats many diagnoses including balance and gait disorders, stroke, and neurological problems, as well and neck and spine conditions.
Meghan is an accomplished soccer player and enjoyed a 4 year colligate career at Wheeling University. She enjoys fitness activities, walking her dog Harper and spending time with friends and family. When she is not working on a new credential, she can be found watching any WVU or Pittsburgh sporting event.

… I recently used your facility for recovery from surgery on my spine. I think because of the great people there and their ability to really help and care for the patient’s needs, I was able to recover faster than normal.
Last week I was in Biloxi & Pascagoula, MS with other Wood County Habitat for Humanity folks putting new houses together… No major back or leg problems. An entire year has gone by without my needing your attention/care. I can now go up 2 flights of stairs without needing the railing.
